We are the most experienced surf school in Nosara, Costa Rica

At Nosara Surf Academy our mission is simple: to teach the necessary skills that you will need to become a better surfer and gain a deeper understanding of the sport. You will use these skills during your stay and continue to progress on your own long after you leave Costa Rica.

For first timers, beginners or intermediate surfers. Learn to surf or improve your surfing skills with our ISA and CPR trained instructors. Book an individual lesson for just you, or surf with a group of 2 or larger.

Private surf coaching

For intermediate to advanced surfers. Enjoy one-on-one surf coaching to fine-tune the surfing skills you already have and learn more techniques to progress towards a higher level of surfing. Perfect for you if you can surf the outside break.

SURF GUIDING

For any surfing level. Book a guided surf trip with one of our ISA and CPR certified instructors to learn, fine tune and advance your surfing at different breaks around the area. Great way to explore, see different beaches, and progress your surfing.

"Kim owns the show and he set us up with a couple great, friendly instructors for our kids. I had Kim take me an older kids out for intermediate lessons out past the white water. He really gave us great tips and understanding of the wave and area, very glad we used him. Boards were great. There are a lot of other shops around and I'm sure good instructors, but Kim hires great ones and has been in the area for 20+ years."
